教授介绍 Lecturer：
Ian Schnoor, CFA, CFM President & Executive Director
Ian Schnoor is the President and Executive Director of the Financial Modeling Institute. In this role, Ian leads the organization's management, operations, and strategic direction. He began his career as a successful investment banker in the 1990s at BMO Capital Markets and later at Citigroup, where he identified a surprising lack of advanced modeling skills in the industry. Recognizing the need for specialized training, Ian leveraged his unique modeling expertise to found The Marquee Group in 2002. The Marquee Group has since become a leading provider of financial modeling training and consulting for professionals in the financial sectors of both the United States and Canada. This educational initiative eventually led to the establishment of the Financial Modeling Institute, which offers the only premier financial modeling designations in the world. Ian has led classes and webinars for thousands of business professionals at nearly all of the world's largest banks and securities firms. He is passionate about teaching and employs a hands-on, interactive approach in every session. Ian is also an academic, serving as a professor at Queen's University, where he teaches a course called Advanced Financial Modeling. He has been honored as the Professor of the Year in the Master of Finance program at the Smith School of Business. Additionally, Ian is the creator of the Financial Modeling Practical Skills Module for the CFA Institute, which will be utilized by CFA Level 1 candidates. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree with academic distinction from the University of Manitoba and is a CFA charter holder and a Chartered Financial Modeler (CFM).
